Dublin based theatrical company Tales from the Shadows are a production group who aim to marry storytelling with shadow puppetry to create shows that are both entertainment and art. They have collaborated with the National Gallery of Ireland to produce a bespoke shadow puppet theatre show in response to #BeyondCaravaggio.
Filled with all the drama of the exhibition, the performances promise to enthrall and delight both young and old, and will finish with an opportunity for a sneak peek behind the scenes of the world of shadow puppetry.
The performance will take place in the Lavery Room of No.5 South Leinster Street, beside the Gallery’s entrance (meet at the Millennium Wing reception desk 10 minutes before the show).
